Damaged

I took these pictures on a highly damaged Yashica T4. The camera was truly on its last legs and the back would sort of pop open if I wasn’t holding it extremely closed. The resultant light leak was very apparent, as was some of the other camera damage, resulting in scratches and other artifacts on the image. Its too bad, because the Yashica was a very cool camera and took great pictures. It is a testament to the camera itself that despite a level of damage that rendered it nearly inoperable, it was still able to produce these sharp detailed photos, which to my eye at least, look tremendous. If anything the camera’s damage adds to the photos in a way.
